Question: I have a lot of experience in sales and marketing but have never worked in sports. Is it possible to make a transition into the sports industry?

It is important to add that there are some subtle differences to consider when working in this industry. These positions will normally require more than the standard 9-5 work day. The sports industry operates on weekends, holidays and nights. Most people in the industry will agree that 40 hour work weeks are few and far between. To work in sports is more than a career it's a demanding yet rewarding lifestyle that will allow you to face new and exciting challenges everyday.
