As of right now, there do not appear to be any career fairs scheduled for the Houston area, although that could always change down the road. In our job postings, we about 20 jobs listed in Houston, including marketing/game ops/intern positions with the Houston Aeros, event marketing intern with the Rockets/Toyota Center, as well as other intern and coordinator level positions. I am only in high school right now, but I am really interested in the sports management field. I live in Texas also. I was thinking of going to a job fair just to check it out if there was one near where I live. Also is there anything I should start doing now to prepare my self for a future career in sports management?

Looking for a sports jobs can be an arduous task that takes up a ton of your time. With the advice of a very close friend I decided it was time to give SportsAndRecreationCrossing.coma look. I had heard many things about it through advertisements, and people who I knew had posted resumes there. I had been to the site a couple of times before, just to look over the set-up, but I hadn't been all that interested in using it. Now I finally have a reason to take advantage of the tools, and I went to the site with the intent of signing up, and taking advantage of all they had to offer. Now I got a Job and I'm very happy...
